International Essay Writing Competition!
Applicants must be aged between 11 (by the 31st July) and 16 years (before the 1st September).
One essay written in English per applicant.
The word count must be between 300 and 500 words.
The essay must be focused on the topic ‘Justice’.
The essay will be marked on various criteria, including content, linguistic ability, coherency and vocabulary. Marks will be lost for inaccurate punctuation, grammar etc.
The deadline is Monday 31st August 2020.
Payment of £5 (or equivalent) is required before the essay is accepted.
The finals will be on Saturday 19th September at 3pm GMT on Zoom with a live speech reading by the finalists before a panel of judges.
The winner will receive a £200 (or equivalent) cash prize and free entry to an essay writing seminar on Saturday 26th September, 2020.
The runners up will receive free entry to an essay writing seminar on Saturday 26th September, 2020.
All applicants will receive discounted entry (£5 per applicant) to an essay writing seminar on Saturday 26th September, 2020.
All entrance fees are non-refundable, however, if for any reason the competition is cancelled, fees will be returned to the sender.
